  • 2013 Pro Mazda and U.S. F2000 Champions

Congrats to Matthew Brabham (Pro Mazda Champ) and Scott Hargrove (U.S. F2000 Champ) for winning their series titles.

To be honest I thought the Pro Mazda championship would be a shootout between Brabham and Pigot again like it was in USF2000 but Brabham totally owned everyone. I'm glad that such a talented driver with such an infamous name is part of the Road to Indy ladder.

Hargrove is Canadian and for some reason there seems to be a ton of Canadian talent coming through the Road to Indy. Can't wait to see what these two do in the coming years.

Brabham did a good job of keeping it clean this year and congrats to him. AA should stick him in the Lights car for Munoz at Fontana since he is out of the championship running. It will be interesting to see how Brabham does passing cars. Hawksworth was in same situation in Mazda as Brabham always running in front, got to Lights and struggled passing.

Good point. Though Brabham did go from midfield to first at St Pete - twice.
