New camera covers?

so the new camera covers are full of little BB's to make them weigh the same as the ones with cameras (almost 2 pounds i think). they are much smaller and more compact in shape. doesn't that sound like a bad idea when one comes off the car? 100+ mph fastball then covering the track in little BB's when it breaks open?... or am i just getting carried away? lol

Maybe, but I've never seen a camera cover come off in any accident. They weren't filled with shot though. Could be a nice souvenir for a fan...buckshot wounds.

I can think of a couple of time where an ICS car has ended up on its lid. Don't know of any Pro Series.

I felt one of the new camera mounts today it felt MUCH heavier 2 or 3 times as heaiver as the old ones... also didnt notice any loose feeling or sound from it so if there are "bb's" they are packed pretty tight.
