Great News: Grand Prix on DVD

Saw this on another forum:

At last the film Grand Prix is to be released on DVD!

The latest copy of F1 Racing arrived in the post today.

On page 26 the story is entitled GRAND PRIX - now on DVD.

"The must see movie is being lovingly restored and will be available for thre first time ever in September. Expect a host of DVD extras, including exclusive analysis about the film and '60s F1 from F1 Racing's very own Peter Windsor and Matt Bishop."

One of my favorite racing movies. The plot is not that great, but the camera work is absolutely stunning. Plus it's got footage of Monza with the big banked curve. I have it on VHS, and it's a must-buy on DVD.

Very cool. Hey until then, if anyone hasn't seen the dvd "50 Years of Formula 1 Onboard", it's a good one.

yeah I downloaded 50 yrs f1 onboard and lap of the gods. Both are very good.
