I figure everyone on this board probably already knew this, but I was thinking another good reason for this move - Ralfie Boy might finally make it through turn 13!
Well, I hear from "inside sources" that Ralf blames Willi Weber, his agent for his inability to make it through turn 13....he fired Willi and the reasons were not revealed, but note that brother Michael successfully made it many times through turn 13...so Ralph thinks that he should get the same deal as his brother, whom Willi also represents.
Pat, I can't possibly comment on this while negotiations are proceeding. However I can confirm that Jacques is feeling nervous so the green 330 Ci might not be the only Beemer I'll be driving!!
Exactly right Kurt, Chris Amon was a much better driver than Baby Schu but has no wins to his name. He is a kiwi however, which is something little Ralfie will never be!!

Much better. OT, did anyone else read the recent Eoin Young book on Chris? I was very disappointed in it, being the Amon fan that I am. (rhyme not intended).

I love Kiwis be it the fruit, bird or shoe polish. But these are my favorite Kiwis:
Just goes to show ya... performance doesnt seem to really matter in F1 when people make decisions about the future. Bridgestones worst year since they entered the series, and they pick up half the grid. Massa tools around and doesnt do a whole lot and gets one of the most important seats in the series. etc etc etc
