          That's tough.

          Those are big shoes to fill in F1. He's brought a ton of integrity to the officiating of the race and had no fear of penalizing the top teams and driver's. He did a good job of keeping politics out of it in one of the most politicized sport in the world.

                  Someone who worked their way up in the business and was a trustworthy and fair applied of the rules. As a spectator I always felt his decisions seemed fair and in proportion Big shoes to fill

                      A big loss to the F1 family. Well respected throughout the paddock by teams and drivers alike.

                            This also may have some impact on IndyCar as Whiting has conducted IndyCar track inspections, including that of the Sao Paulo street circuit
