Well they announced a while back that the "new"car for 2011, was basically a evolution of the 2010 car. This means that they are garanted to be at the back, and maybe further back than last year. I have a feeling they might fail to qualify at some races!

One of the fastest looking cars I ever saw was the red Eagle Denns Firestone drove in the 82 Indy 500. Gorgeous car. Looked fast sitting still.

It sounds like they have hired an artist to replace the aerodynamicists in designing the car, i.e., "it won't go fast, but at least it looks cool."

If that's indeed what they've done, it's about the dumbest move I've ever seen in motor racing.

Daniel Simon is an automotive designer (also called stylist by some...) & also works in Hollywood. His last movie was TRON 2. He also has a very cool book called COSMIC MOTORS. IMO he is using HRT to promote his book . Check out his website & the 2011 HRT F111
