Thanks for posting. I always thought that it was cool that in the Beatles Anthology book, George spoke about visiting IMS on The Beatles 1964 tour. When you think of all the places he had been and people he'd met, that after 30 years, he still fondly recalled visiting the Speedway.

I've heard that when the Motor Lodge was torn down that Tony George had dipps on the Beatles door.
Brian Epstein figured it was easier to keep tab on the fab four if he kept them all in one place, so when they were at the Speedway Motor Lodge they all stayed in the same room.

With cute girls falling down at my feet, offering anything, I doubt I'd be sleeping in a room with some other dudes.
Just sayin', but I have no proof.
