I thought this was going to be about Honda's punishment to our eyes.
"Ninety-two years ago [the Indy 500] was probably like any other race," said 2005 winner Dan Wheldon. "But over time it's just created so many storylines and history for people of our generation that now it's just massive. People value that history and tradition and you just can't take that away."
I can't believe they still can't secure a sponsor.
I hadn't seen this year's car, but you'd think they could get decent exposure since the cameras zoom in tight on their cars every time their engines blow up. That's got to be good sponsor exposure no matter where you are on the grid, right?
For the record, I never had a problem with CART in 1995. Its when they turned beligerant twards IMS and their fans for supporting the IRL that turned me off them.
