I have no idea what this has to do with the celebs mentioned, but then again, people who are interested in celebs probably do. Anyway it's sad news. Rupp was a successful business man living his dream of being a racecar driver, and was fairly good at it. In fact, more than that. An inspirational career.

It's the same thing with Aldous Huxley and JFK. Famous person dies but it's overshadowed in the news by an even more famous person.

I assume it is a business career that kept Rupp away from coming back? He'd scratched the itch with an excellent rookie finish?

Imagine "Sky" Saxon of the 60s garage rock group The Seeds, who passed away the same day as Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson.

Rupp competed in F5000, at least once, at Ontario in 1974.

Mickey did a good job in Sprints and Indycars and was smart enough to stick to his day job.
Fan of a small Club Series bankrolled by rich men
