You'd think GM would've learned that lesson after Bobby Allison snookered everyone with the fastback Pontiac Le Mans just 2 years prior.

I was working at a dealership when the Aerocoupe came out, they got one. The sticker was $21k, they weren't going to let it go for less than $24k. For a car that you couldn't get a fully inflated basketball into the trunk opening.

I bet they sell for more than $24k now.


I recall the Pontiac had a similarly small trunk opening.

You might be able to slide a bag of dog food thru the opening and not much else.
