I heard a story that when Carl started developing Miami Beach, people weren't impressed, and sales were slow. Fisher was stumped as to why nobody wanted to buy into his new community. His wife suggested that what was missing was a church...there was no place to worship. She told Fisher he should build one; and he replied, "Why that's a splendid idea! I'll build the biggest g*d-d**ned church you ever saw!"

It worked.
