It's been a strip club a whole lot longer than it was the White Front; at least from the 1970s. There aren't very many people left that ever visited the White Front.

I don’t know the year but I did go to the White Front. It was past its glory days and I recall it being a bit of a rough and tough crowd. I wasn’t compelled to return.
The pictures from its better days make it look much different than my night there. I

White Front was a strip club when I went.

So...this place is in a pretty rough area now right? I think the odds of recreating a solvent respectable business there are low. If there are no buyers, could the building be razed?

Sounds as though the original White Front was a bit of a dive bar so respectable doesn't have to be part of the equation lol

I got one from John Mahoney years ago.
It and my ‘65 500 Mobil shirt make the trip to IMS every year.

I wonder is someone could buy the building and move it?

It would be neat if someone would buy it and fix it up...the potential is there. The place is the stuff of legend.

I fear though that the location is enough to dissuade any investor. If it had been on the other side of the railroad tracks....excuse the cliché, but nevertheless descriptive...it might have more potential to thrive and survive. Plus with all the popular establishments along Main Street, the former location of the White Front is too far away to draw a connection to that area.
