    Dean didn't skip anything. He tried Rodee at indy, Had Chuck Stevenson as stated above at Milwaukee and had Bob Mathouser at Langhorne.

      Oops, right you are Thanks for the correction, though I'm further confused because there's nothing above that stated Stevenson was in the car at Milwaukee Pelican Joe mentioned Stevenson, but didn't mention where. You mentioned Milwaukee, but only that Hurtubise was burnt there driving for DVS, but did not mention Stevenson.

      Correcting my error and going a bit deeper, Dean was at Indy, originally in hopes that Hulse would get medical clearance, which did not happen. Champcarstats.com has Don Horvath taking his rookie test in the car, but doesn't mention Rodee, though I've seen conflicting newspaper articles. One has Rodee moving into the Dean car, the other that "he might" go to the Dean car. I don't have the daily trackside reports to go by, which would be (and would have been) a big help.
