            Makes me want to channel my inner Lemony Snickett.

            I read somewhere that the compression ratio of that hemi V8 was about 6.6:1 because of the poor quality gasoline available in the Czech Republic at the time.

              The 603 was entered in the 84 hr Marathon de la Route at the Nurburgring and did well. In 1966 Tatras were 4th, 5th, and 6th and 1,2,3 in their class in 1967 one retired so they only managed 4th and 5th. Not bad performances against the cream of European Touring Car racers.
