    Possible? Sure. There are replica race cars of all kinds. All it takes is detailed plans/templates and someone with the willingness to spend the money. If you can essentially replicate ("restore") a WWII fighter using nothing but a data plate and a gear leg, you can replicate a race car. It's not like they were created magically.

    The Mallards

    I need some help tracking down a car that was in the Eddie Evan's museum. There were two Mallards, one THE original (Pepsi/Frito Lay) which is now living in the amazing Speedway Motors Museum in Nebraska. The other car the Moran Electric #56 was a Karl Kinser recreation that was essentially a roller. Does anyone know where that car ended up during the auction?

    Would it be possible to recreate the car from the ground up? Do engineering designs and paperwork on the car exist to do so?
