    These are 3 slides that my father took at the start of the 1960 500.

    The starts back in those days were classic. Tight rows of three until the green flag is dropped. Those cars were not easy to drive yet they could still pull it off (most of the time.)

          I just missed the Roadster era. First 500 in my memory is 1965, so those slides are magic for me.
