Looking For Photos

Hi, I'm wondering if anybody can direct Me to a photo Source, I'm Looking for Photos of Wysard Racing Team. 1979-1985. I hope nobody minds this since it's a re-post. the Drivers Were (in no particular order) Vern Schuppan, Pete Halsmer, Derek Daly 83 indy, Jim Crawford 85 indy Desire' Wilson dnq indy. and Geoff Brabham. (I've never seen a Photo of Brabham in a Wysard Car ) Spike Gehlhausen (indy 81 crashed dnq )

IIRC the 82 Wysard entry driven by Derek Daly was originally assigned to Bob Lazier for Indy. Bob withdrew as he was good friends with Gordon Smiley, who ironically was driving for Fletcher in 82 whom Bob had driven for in 81

The is the Wysard car at Indy in 1981 with Spike Gelhausen driving. After the primary car was wrecked the Wysards bought this Penske PC6 from the McElreaths (note the Texas flag remained on the car). This car ended up in the wall as well.


The Wysard March 82C at Indy in 1982 with Bob Lazier at the wheel. BSJracing pretty much summed it up on this car.

You're right of course, Daly's time with Wysard would come later. Parson's took over for Lazier, and Snider took over for Smiley. I remember the Intermedics sponsorship was gone from Ziggy's car, replaced by Cobra Tire

Anne was a respected motorsport artist/photographer/art director back in the day. She created a livery for Herb and Rose and was on a first-name basis with other talented photographers of the era.
