  • Grill Decals

I had Daytona practice on in the background as I worked on my taxes and I noticed the new grill decals that Ford is running. While a lot of people joke about the headlight decals I actually thought they were a pretty good idea. But these new huge fake grill decals with a small little grill in the middle just look stupid and cheesy. At least the Chevys and Dodges use grill openings similiar to the street version and not big decals.

    Is it May yet ?

I don't mind the grill decals.

If they're going to call it a Ford Fusion, why not try to look like one?

          F - funny looking

          U - under-done steak

S - steak from my decal grill - want some?

I - Indy cars will soon have decals of drivers, instead of the real thing (hey - we gotta think of something to compete w NASCAR - should be popular with the video game crowd)

O - Oh No! Does the decal driver say this as the wall approaches?

N - Next generation NASCAR car will use magnetic levitation (maglev cars
will approach speeds of 500 MPH at Daytona, and will again be able to
compete with Indy cars, which took away all the NASCAR fans with
their "decal drivers" starting in the year 2158)

While on the subject of the Ford Fusion, I wonder how many realize that the Ford automobile that the NNCS car is pretending to be is manufactured in Mexico and is based on a Japanese car platform (Mazda 6)?

With all the fuss about Toyota joining the NNCS in 2007, it appears that the foreign invasion has already happened in the series.

I think they look stupid - much more so than the Daytona Prototype version which I don't care for either.

That said, does anyone have either version in .eps or .ai format?

Not too bad, just finished the driveway we got about 8 inches I guess. They got hit a lot harder down your old neck of the woods, it stayed out more along the coast.

Without the decal- people might have confusion about the type of "razor" being driven.

This has got to be the dumbest idea Ford has ever had.
The grill sticks out like a sore thumb. The least they could have done was actually use a insert replica of the Fusion grill to put in the grill opening of the car.

Many people don't like to admit it. But the foreign invasion began when DaimlerChrysler came in.
