                        I wear mine backwards sometimes simply because I don't know which way I'm going. Luckily, I have a wife that tells me.

                          Bitter irony. From what I was told, Ricky would probably been killed in the bad CTS crash if he had not been wearing a HANS. The crash took the edge off his driving. His mother wanted Rick to fire Ricky as a driver, but Rick told her someone else would hire him because of his name and they would probably not have as much sponsor money to provide a safe race car or truck. Finally Ricky decided to step down as a driver to go into team management.
