I understand you opinion, but that was in honor of Ricky Hendrick who died on the way to Martinsville last year.......
"I think of Indianapolis every day of the year, every hour of the day, and when I sleep, too. Everything I ever wanted in my life, I found inside the walls of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. I love it all, from the first to the last day in May. The moment that race starts is always the greatest moment of my life, and the day I win that race, it will be as if my life has ended. There is nothing more I could want out of life."

Yes.
And anyone who watched would have noticed that Jeff's first reaction was to put it on bill-front before remembering.
"Foyt's mere presence is a punch in the face, an inoculation against milquestoast corporatism. There wasn't a car anywhere anyhow anytime that Foyt wouldn't put the boot to, and there hasn't been a race devised he couldn't win."

Bitter irony. From what I was told, Ricky would probably been killed in the bad CTS crash if he had not been wearing a HANS. The crash took the edge off his driving. His mother wanted Rick to fire Ricky as a driver, but Rick told her someone else would hire him because of his name and they would probably not have as much sponsor money to provide a safe race car or truck. Finally Ricky decided to step down as a driver to go into team management.
