Getting ready for this weekend's "International" Tamale Festival and looking forward to Daytona in 2 months.

I hope this isn't bad news for the sport but DEI can't
find $$ for the entire season and the #99 car doesn't
have a sponsor for 2004 yet either.

It is bound to happen. NASCAR has been riding an unexpected al-time high despite every other sport going down. In this economy NASCAR has been very fortunate to attract new sponsors & fans.

It is unlikely that they can keep growing. The goal now is to just maintain the level they are at or minimize the losses.

NASCAR has possibly peaked...
