NASCAR's Response to Hamilton Borders on Criminal

It was only last night that I saw the ending to the truck race, and NASCAR fines Hamilton $10,000 and gives him probation for putting a Brendan Gaughan face first into the wall????

Face First!!!!!!!!!!
Into the wall!!!!!!!!
After the race!!!!!!!

We have all seen the little nudges and sideswipes that result from the frustration of a racing situation, but...

When a &*%#% like Hamilton puts his left front against Gaughan's right rear quarter panel there is only one way for Gaughan to go and he went there!!!

Face first ino the wall...

As serious a cheapshot as I have ever seen, and as potentiall dangerous act as I have ever seen.

Hamilton should have been set down for at least 3 races if not for the remainder of the season.

That was such a blatant thing I wondered what on earth Gaughan had done to Hamilton earlier - but apparently not much! I am surprised at Hamilton, I remember how upset he got about a certain Rockingham bump & run years ago.

Bobby Hamilton is a real hothead, and kind of a jerk.

He'd really whine and cry if Gaughn had done that to him.

It's time NASCAR took care of the on track garbage, and quit worrying about whether or not two guys settle a difference with their fists in the garage.

The latter might only result in a black eye and a valuable lesson.

The former is going to get someone killed.
