Do you think that NAPA might bail out from MWR? I know that NAPA has a long relationship with Michael Waltrip personally,but one must wonder how much of a strain the latest controversy would put on that relationship. I wouldn't think that the corporate office would like being involved with such a situation. Who knows?

It appears that Bowyer's primary sponsor is planning some kind of statement...there was a brief Twitter message from Five-Hour Energy stating that they respected NASCAR's ruling and were evaluating their situation. It ended with "We respect your understanding and patience."

Lots of companies have internal ethics programs, most often centered around doing business with governments. Doesn't look good to be dealing with a supplier that doesn't.Comment

Big difference! Smokey did things that weren't exactly addressed in the rules. When NASCAR would figure out what he did, they would write a rule against it.
