Ken and Dave Despain have been together on Speed at SpeedWeeks for the past few years. They act as "hosts" for the practice sessions that Speed televises. It is great television. Dave will ask a question, and get out of the way as Ken expounds on the topic. The amount of historical information in his brain is impressive. He is a racing treasure and I hope he continues for a very long time.Mess with me and you mess with the whole trailer park.

Ken actually lives in Waterbury, VT, which is about ten miles or so down the road from Stowe. He is not really a "Stowe" (think Aspen wanna-be community) kind of guy. He owns thunder road speedway in Barre, and WDEV a.m. radio in Waterbury ( i think). He is locally active in a variety of events (some political) and if you want to see him, and the greatest parade on the face of the earth, go the The Moscow Parade next fourth of July.
