If we're going to allow car to car NASCAR ought to just admit it's team racing and adapt Roller Derby rules to the sport.

A genuine improvement would be banning all radio communications, but that would open the door to driving skill and competitiveness actually becoming important. Maybe Roller Derby would be a good source for skilled drivers as well.

No, not even within teams. That was garbage, esp. between the Ford teams.

Yes let the teams do what ever they want with communication. Because it would mean less yellows.

No they will still getting banging as the laps wind down to zero

And radio communication has already increased exponentially and the # of yellows has not decreased

One Driver to his spotter and his crew chief/strategist. No radio to radio between cars or team members regardless of whether they share an owner, engine maker, sponsor, etc. If they want to chat, walk down the pit like the old days.

If this two-step occurs at other tracks I think NASCAR should do something to prevent it mechanically or electronically. Don't allow it for a full lap much less 3,4,5 etc.

Is that why there was a record number of cautions yesterday? How do you think it would reduce them.

Banning ALL radio communication is very misguided. Radios in all motorsport is a SAFETY ISSUE !!!!! Call us when the roller derby chicks skate 200MPH...

Banning ALL radio communications? Impossible with all of the blind spots now on these cars with the mandated safety features...

That being said, ban the intra car communications, first off, I think it is to much clutter on the radio, which is a distraction, and this is not Tag Team WWF! Or is it...

Drivers need to hear what is important to keep them safe and keeps their car running... that should be all and it should only come from their team imho of course
