There's quit a few surprises in that list! I with P.C. and Dario were up there too though. As a JPM fan I like him moving up some, but we have a long season yet! I know one thing HMS isn't going to fade.

You know what I think is a shame is that Patrick had good runs at Daytona but couldn't make the race because of this stupid (IMO) "35 rule".
If you show up and have the speed/time, then you should, IMO, make a race on your own merits and not be punished because your owner didn't have the points....es[ecially when it's the very first race of the season.

I spend a lot of time sticking up for them in Nascar forums (not this one), I should probably keep my mouth shut about them but I can't. LOL, the truth is alot of Nascar drivers came up driving open wheel cars and ended up in Nascar but there's a general hate for them and it makes me nuts!! I am pleasantly surprise with P.C. If I could change anything about Nascar it would be the top 35 and the point switch crap too!

(who cut his teeth in sprints, midgets, etc....)

Oh I give them hell believe that. Any driver that stepped in an open wheel midgit I use against them. The funny thing is it's the Stewart fans which is so ironic to me!
