Although I mostly hangout on the IndyCar part of TrackForum, I wanted to let the Nascar fans here know that I've just completed a website that will display Timing and Scoring for nascar events on mobile devices with internet browsers.
I've been testing this during the past two weekends and I believe it's ready for general usage. I would appreciate your thoughts and feedback on it.
If would also welcome anyone sharing this to other folks who might be able to use this information by email, other forums, etc.
Many thanks for your interest and feedback!
NOTE: I apologize in advance if anything goes wrong during the race on Sunday as I'll be skiing and not immediately able to address it.
Background
Over the past few years, I've watched the various racing series build awesome T&S systems that provide great information for desktop users, but the technologies used are not generally usable by mobile devices. Personally, I've wanted access to this information from my phone when I'm at the race track, or when I can't watch the race on TV because of other commitments. This personal desire, caused me to launch the Mobile IndyCar T&S site last year and from the usage that it has received, I guess I'm not the only one who wants this information when they are away from their personal computer. I've now extended similar functionality for the Nascar world.
