Pretty cool
Think there will be a formal announcement soon - there's some last minute sponsor tweaking
This arrangement also allows Greg to run the O Classic on Labor Day and try for a first ever '3 in a row' Classic Wins
Now let's see if Mr Syracuse -Muccii- joins in
btw: From the Syracuse.com article
Paternoster said he'll use a standard Chevrolet small-block, alcohol fuel-injected engine of 355 cubic-inches in the new car. But that may be replaced in 2007 by a Toyota V-8 similar to the one currently used in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series.
Toyota Racing Developments, which has made it known it intends to seek car owners to employ its truck V-8 in 2007 Silver Crown racing, next year is aiming to replace Ford's four-cylinder midget engine in USAC's national championship midget car series.Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati

Bob East has built many of the old style Silver Crown cars. He has been opposed to the new generation car and I therefore doubt he has built any. Since only the new generation cars will be at all future pavement races I doubt that there will be a Beast in the field at Phoenix.Dwight Clock

I'd be shocked if there was a Beast Silver Crown car at Phoenix. I had heard that Hmiel was going to run some midget races though so that could be the Beast he is driving at Phoenix.
As far as Hmiel's SC ride, that may be one of the entries in limbo as the engine specs are sorted out.Dan Schlosser

Wasn't that what several on here said about 6R racing. (Or was that our old friend Heywood may he RIP god I sure miss him) Bob will someday quit pouting over not getting his palm greased over the prototype, and will start building them and if not to bad for him. Looks like the Silver Crown Series survived with out the Watson, Kurtis, Shores, and countless others who made money off this division and for what ever reason quit building cars. Eight confirmed teams, and about 6 in the strong rumor stage.
