Why not? With new sponsership shouldnt hey be at the biggest midget races of all winter? Averaging around 15k fans each night is some darn good exposure.
aXe
Chili Bowl doesn't pay points for starters. And the "exposure" is limited to the 15K in the house by and large. And there isn't a one of them that would be a new set of eyeballs.
As an owner you race the Chili Bowl because you love the atmosphere or you are making money doing it by selling rides. Outside of that there isn't any business related reason to be there. Steve Lewis is all business, all the time.

Disagree. Lot's of drivers (and a few owners) can get good exposure there with a good run at the Chili Bowl. It can make some things happen if you run in the top 10 of the Main on Saturday, and you are not a houshold name in USAC, Badger, or any other majo midget series.
"If somebody came to me and said, 'You can only do one race a year. We don't care where it is, what is it?' I would pick the Chili Bowl. I wouldn't pick the Indy 500. I wouldn't pick the Daytona 500. I wouldn't pick the Brickyard 400. I would go to the Chili Bowl."
Are you going to the Bowl of Chili this year ??? I think Ronnie PUP-PO and Mario are going,,, that is if they don't kill each other first... A 12 hour drive with "Screechy",,, and his continual buzzing in your ear,,, that would be to much for me... Unless you could put a cork in Ronnie's mouth,,, or get him to ride he in the trunk,,, it might be a long trip...
I might go with Jonnie Pipkin,,, next year,,, to the Bowl of Chili,,, he wants to go bad,,, or least he says he wants to go.......
AxE,,, Did you know of,,, or work on,,, Jonny's collection of Dwarf Cars and his Mini Sprints... He has a half dozen or so,,, all show quality stuff...
AxE,,, these cars an't flake cars,,, that's how Jonnie meet and knows all them High Dollar Rod builders,,, from the show car circuit... One car right now is down at Team Eagle,,, those are the guys that run that very successful alcohol funny car,,, they have a dozen Wally's on their shelves to prove it... It's beautiful,,, better than a Four Bar Meskowski,,, well maybe not better,,, but just as business like... The one he has at Team Eagle,,, he says he turned down 30 thousand,,, me I would of taken the money,,, if the car was made of solid gold,,, it couldn't cost that much... But who knows,,, they are just beautiful,,, all aluminum bodies,,, the works,,, real works of art..

That is an easy Question to Answer "The Prestigous Belleville Midget Nationals" on the Famous Belleville High Banks race track. You win at that place , you know you can race anywhere and you beat the best of the best. A win there and it usually means you will move up to the next level.
I really like this Quote by Tony Stewart in the May of 2005 issue of Sprint Car & Midget Magazine:

Winning at Belleville shows you are comfortable going fast . It isn't a real easy place to win at. Everybody that's ever won there normally has really done something with their careers.
