I was surprised to hear it, I didn't know they considering closing. It's just always been there. I think they said 48 years? It's a shame. I've never been down that way for racing.

Some big company owns the land in that area and they got the owners to take a buyout a few years back. I've read rumor that Golden Isles will take the bulk of the dates in 2025. Fortunately WRG owns Volusia so that one should be safe.

WoO LM canceled the whole weekend at Farmer City slated for the 31st and 1st.

MLRA weekend at Tri City is rained out. The Kyle Larson Challenge at Volunteer is a go for tonight. NALMS at Brownstown is also happening this weekend.

Good race last night. Larson and Davenport had a nice duel and then Larson pulled a slider in 1-2 with roughly 12 or so to go and that was it. He was gone.

NASCAR regs didn't embarrass themselves too bad. Kyle Busch almost transferred into the feature.

Lucas oil cancelled macon a week or so ago i think they are supposed to run at farmer's city illinois in may. Is april too early to be racing in illinois?

Canceled all of this weekend too out east. There is a 4 night swing in Illinois in May between Flo and Lucas. Flo runs Spoon River and Lincoln followed by Lucas at Farmer City and Fairbury. Should be a lot of cars because the purses are really good every night.
