Proof that ya can't win 'em all. Swindell was 2nd, but said yellows messed him up, and he could have had the field handled with more time.

Almost forgot to mention this from Thursday night, as proof of how fast (too fast?) -they are at Volusia :

Earlier in the night, Kasey Kahne Racing's Paul McMahan got the Sprint Car event off to a fast start when he broke a four-year-old track record in qualifying by turning a lap in 12.569 seconds at 143.209 mph. The previous mark was 12.948 seconds. The standard for speed on a half-mile dirt oval had been Tony Stewart's Eldora Speedway, where Craig Dollansky established the record of 12.707 seconds in 2002.

It really is amazing. The typical sprint car driver of 2011 is 17-25 years old, maybe 5'8" and MAYBE 140lbs.

Steve K is nowhere near any of those #s

And in a series where 5lbs is alot of excess weight on the car hes easily giving up 75lbs to other drivers
