  • Indy Circle Track Expo 11

The off-season tradition returns, and preperations are underway for: The Indy Circle Track Expo 11, Swap Meet * Trade Show, January 29, 2011 @ the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, IN!

It's one of the biggest shows of it's kind in the entire country, and by far the biggest show in the entire Midwest!! Last year's Indy Circle Track Expo had just over 400 booth spaces (in 2 buildings), with vendors from 13 different (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennnessee, West Virginia, and Wisconsin (and oddly enough, 2 with the name Arizona, but they're not from there)! This Swap Meet and Trade Show, will bring together local racers, professional racers, racing business's (manufacturers & dealers), race tracks, and sanctioning bodies all under 1 massive roof! The 67,000 Sq. ft. Champions Pavilion was sold-out (for the 9th year in a row!) last year by the first week of January! Vendor registration is open, and we have already started receiving entries, both in the mail and online!
This year's first entry, was Modified Builder Bob "Spanky" Shoulders, owner of Durabuilt Racecars!! Congrats Spanky! We'll have to buy you one of those "$17 Hot Dogs" at the Fairgrounds.. Or maybe something less expensive??!!

Attention Vendors: You can now quickly register online by visiting our website: www.shoestringracing.com
Don't be left out of this historically Sold-Out show... Register Soon!!

"You have a good thing going. Thanks for putting it together year after year.
Your entire staff is great to be around. Willing to listen, eager to help; positive attitudes across the board. Be sure to thank each one again as I'm sure you have already."
From Indiana Open Wheel message board; posted by Scott Stine, H.O.S.S. Announcer

"I would like thank you for all of your hard work. For us modified guys We don't have a big outlet for our stuff and thank you for giving modified racers a chance with your swap meet. I heard this alot on saturday "all he needs now is an auction to go with this......" Thank you again "
From 4m.net message board; posted by Craig Conyer, Modified Champion

The Feud: Again, the Beast Race Cars "Circle Track Feud" Presented by Racin' W/D.O. and H.A.R.F., returns for another attempt at Game Show Infamy! The Mechanics, vs. the Legends, vs. The Current Heroes format will once again be in play! Last year's winner, Dave Darland walked away with his first victory of the 2010 season, and promptly donated the winnings to the Vogler Scholarship Fund! Once again this year, each Celebrity Panelist will be playing for more than just bragging rights, they'll actually be playing for $400, which will then be donated to the charity of their choice!! The kings of historical knowledge on all things fast, will be returning!.. Indianapolis Motor Speedway Historian Donald Davidson and www.openwheeltimes.com Kevin Eckert will be tossing out the Questions & Points, in this battle for "mental" supremacy!! Also returning to help keep the train somewhat on the track, will be www.jackslash.com 's Sean Buckley!!
As in years past, we will be utilizing some Legends of the sport, as well as some of today's heroes! We have been fortunate to have some of the finest in the business, grace our stage over the the years, and this year will be no different! Bob East has already committed to take his first shot at the "Feud"... We're just not sure whether to put him with the Mechanics or The Legends??)
The Indy Circle Track Expo's, Beast Race Cars "Circle Track Feud" Presented by Racin' W/D.O. and H.A.R.F will start at approx. 1:00pm.
We sincerely want to thank Bob & Janice East for their continued support of our show, and their generous contributions!!

"The swap meet this past week end was great for us and seemed to be for everyone else. (except we were to far away from the girls in bikinis! (just kidding) We did well and we count on the swap meet to sell parts we do not need to come up with money to buy the used parts we do need. Without the swap meet, we could not afford to race, so I just want to express my appreciation for your efforts."From a Local Indiana Sprint Car Team

"Clay Klepper and wife Jamie were on hand at the Shoestring Swap Meet Show in Indianapolis this past weekend. Klepper said that a lot of leads were generated for some new business and that the show was a success. “Not only did we sell a lot of product on-site, but we also made a lot of good contacts for future workâ€‌, said Klepper. “It was a lot of fun visiting with a bunch of old friends from my racing days and speaking with current and future customers.â€‌ CK Designs handed out 10% OFF COUPONS to anyone attending the show to promote his dealers (which are redeemable at any authorized dealer). “I really want to support my dealers which all do a great job. I think this may help drive a little bit of business their way and also inform my current customers of some new products that I have out.â€‌ From the www.ckdesignsinc.com website

Also returning will be the very popular "Beast Parts Check Room" where you will have a secure place to drop your "goodies", so that you can continue to enjoy the day without having to haul them around or take them out to your vehicle!

Many more announcements will come as the day draws near! Don't forget about our private meeting rooms that are available for whatever you may need, or Seminars that you may want to hold.

It's a Tradition: Indy now has a Swap Meet/Trade Show BIG enough for "The Racing Capital of the World"!! Be sure you join us in the Champions Pavilion for all the "wheelin', dealin', good times!!

Make your plans now to either vend or attend... You won't disappointed!
