  • Short track fans...I just gotta laugh

when I see people go on racing message boards to ask how much this or that short track race will cost
    or what time it starts.

Even if the local speedway doesnt have a website, they do have a phone

Or are people today just too lazy to call?

It's the dumbing down of America, Kev.

I think we all just need to get used to it. Some day, when we are all long gone, some descendant of ours will wipe out the whole country because of an accidental mouse click.

With all the fine folks from the CARTII board that could give two shats about the spridget world, I would hope a fine ambassador such as yourself would have the tolerance to help a brother out with times. By the packed local track stands, I think that tracks could use all the help they can get.

Keeping a website semi up to date doesn't seem to be that big of deal to me. I google the track, get the website, then the number and then put the computer down and call a likely box office?

How about just googling the track for the info needed like this: http://www.eldoraspeedway.com/4crown.html

I am coming over from two states away with a brief layover Saturday afternoon in Ross-Ade Stadium... See you there racefans...

What irks me (maybe its too soon for the truth), DW was a 16-oval WIN specialist, yet the vast majority those boohooing for him, hardcarders & fans, alike are the same ones trying to kill anything with more than 9 deg banking & 4 corners, where Dan ultimately made his home...

              I aint going there 'dog

              It just baffles me.

Cuz invariably someone will say its $20.

Very next poster will say no thats next week when the XYZ is in town. Its still $15 this week

Often is descends into thread Hell from there

Dont even ask about starting times.

Call the track and get the details from the source

              Dats all
