  • Congratulations to Allmendinger & Wilson

A terrific run in the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

If it wasnt for those minor issues, they would have had it! The 02 spent the least time in the pits, and came away with the win.

All in all, a great run by the open wheel guys in general. There were times when they filled the top 10! Impressive stuff.

Hell of a run by the two -- especially Wilson. It's a miracle that he didn't injure himself or hurt a few muscles being in such an akward seating position for such a long time.

I feel that Allmendinger's first time with a roof over his head story was a bit overplayed. Those DPs are much closer to formula cars than they are any sedan or stock car.

Would have liked to have seen more champ car drivers in the event.

Why didn't Katherine Legge make a run here???

She was testing at Sebring, i believe. There was a healthy ChampCar contingent, though. Especially if you add Atlantics, heh. Wilson, Allmendinger, Tracy, Vasser, McDowell, and Bourdais were the guys that sat in ChampCars at Mexico City.

Wish they could have challenged at the end but a good first time effort for these guys. Sure do miss watching the 333sp duking it out with the Riley & Scott....
