  • Pick 5 thread for Mexico City

It's time to make your picks for Mexico City. The deadline to post them is 2:00pm TFT(trackforum time) on Friday, November, 4th. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Here's how to play: post your picks for the drivers finishing in positions 1-5, leading the most laps, and winning the pole. You may also post picks for others you know(spouse, child, friend, etc), who are not TF members. If you do this, you must make it clear whose picks are whose.

    Point distribution is as follows:

correct pole position - 1 point
correct lap leader - 1 point
    correct 1st place - 5 points
    correct 2nd place - 4 points
    correct 3rd place - 3 points
    correct 4th place - 2 points
    correct 5th place - 1 point

If a driver finishes at or higher than where you picked him, you get the points for the position you picked him to finish in. Example: You pick Bruno to finish 3rd and he wins - you get 3 points for picking him third. If the driver finishes lower than where you picked him, you get nothing. Example: You pick PT to finish in 4th, but he finishes 5th - you get no points for that pick.

If two drivers lead an equal number of laps, more than any other drivers, either one is a correct lap leaderpick. When there is no qualifying for whatever reason, no points will be awarded for the pole.

You may only pick drivers, not cars, an no alternates are allowed. Also, picking the same driver for multiple finishing positions is not allowed and will get you a zero for the entire event.

At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be name the winner. Prize will be adoration and renown!

If there is a tie at the end of the season for 1st place, the tiebreaker will be the number of races won. If there is still a tie, the winner will be the poster who won the most races as the sole winner, rather than simply tying for the win. If there is still a tie, there will be co-champions.

Attempts will be made to notify anyone needing to edit their entry, but the poster is ultimately responsible. Don't blame anybody else if you mess it up or neglect to correct your picks.

If you know you are going somewhere w/o a computer during the week leading up to a certain race, you may get your picks in ahead of time by PMing me. I will post your picks and they will count just as if you had posted them yourself.

In the event of a scoring dispute, notify me(IndyIRLman) about the race in question. All decisions made by me are final.

    Good Luck

Yes, going out on a limb with Jimmy. We will see if CCWS has a conspiracy theory. Wouldn't it be great for Jimmy to win his last race. (Hopefully he wins, but hopefully, it is not his last one.)
After years of fighting and a split, guess what, we are all IndyCar

October will always be a sad racing month for me. RIP Greg and Dan. You both were great and we miss you.
