For those wondering about the viability of a Champcar season in 2004, keep looking at the Allmendinger/Rusport team. If they buy and start testing a Champcar, that's a pretty good indication there will be a racing series in '04. If they buy a Indycar, it don't look so good...

No news but AJ has made it clear that he doesn't want to go to the IRL. I wouldn't be surprised if Carl Russo folds his TA effort(unless Maia can bring some sponsorship) and runs 1 car in the IRL and 1 car in CART.
