F3000/CART - could they be merging?

According to Speedvision F3000 will not be called F3000 next year, this was announced LIVE during the F3000 finale at Monza this a.m.

Will all the changes I am wondering if CART will merge withF3000 so F1 could have a European and American based feeder series?

They would keep seperate schedules but would have the same affiliation...Like NASCAR West and East.

I've thought that for CART to become a true North American Formula Two would be cool.

Could it possibly include ovals?

In North America why not. Or maybe we could bring F3000 level oval racing across the pond

It's going to be called F2,common knowledge,been out there for months.

And it's not going to be called Motorock,so,no merger.

People want to see the same drivers every week.

That's why Bill France has never taken up Bruton Smith on his idea to split NASCAR into divisions.

I think they're just changing the name of F3000; the cars will still be over 200hp apart...

F2, that makes sense to me. If I heard it right will that take effect for 2004 and beyond then?
