  • Yank Rodolfo's licence

How many times has this guy failed to complete the first 10 laps of a race? ****, I watched him crash under yellow on the first lap at Road America.

I'd rather have 18 starters than 19 starters, one of whom crashes out virtually instantly.

Say what you will about the Coyne boys, but at least they don't crash too much. Slow, but they don't crash. Can't say that about Wankerdolfo.

    namecalling ain't cool..........

I seem to remember BOTH Coyne cars crashing on the parade lap (and dry track) at Vancouver.

In defense of both Salles and Boss, they both impressed on occasion, if not more often, in Lights. Can't say the same about Lavin in either Lights or Atlantics.

Lavin, it appears, is running out of talent when they drop the green.

After Sunday's display it appeared he had consumed his sponsor's product before driving. Veer right, then left back into someone else.

Great paint job, great sponsor, driver is a hack.

All we needed was Adrian to get into that mix and it would have been an all Mexican Liquor bash. He seemed glued to Roberto.

I remember TK mentioning during a race telecast(can't remember which one though) that he thought Lavin was way over his head.

That was at LB when Lavin stuffed into the tires for no reason other than I guess he forgot to turn the wheel. He is in way over his head. He is brutal. Better than Shiggy, but not much better. I would hope that he gets his license pulled before the end of the year but I am not counting on it. Back then C^RT had Wally Dallenbach calling the shots, now they have a committee of circus clowns.

As much as Lavin hasnt impressed, he is still far and away a better driver than many who raced in CART's hayday. Vitolo anyone?

Vitolo wasn't exactly a regular but I'll agree that he was a total loser. I think it's funny that so many posters thought it was disgraceful that Alex Yoong got a ride, myself included, but he turned out to be tons better than anyone else at Coyne this year.

Better than many who raced in CART's heyday? That stretching a bit.

I'll admit he's better than a majority of the ride buyers...which despite popular conception was not that many.....but better than most. Hmmm...

Yoong actually impressed me when his car wasn't stuffed in the tires.

I can't help but wonder just how wickedly bad Coyne's cars are to drive. The engineering support there is not exactly stellar. Heck, it's not even a full time gig to be a drivers engineer. They share critical staff between both cars, IIRC. It's no wonder they miss the setups so consistently.

He's said that on several occasions.
