This is an interesting read from a Pro-CART site. Now listen, I'm an IRL fan, but I'm NOT posting this here to cause trouble. I just thought it was interesting considering where it came from. I'll be interested to get your reaction on this.

I became suspicious at the second sentance. It got worse as it went along. Its an opinion piece, the author's entitled to his. I don't agree with much in it. Except for Germany, CART hasn't had an exciting race since the mid-90's? NASCAR and F1 have SOME boring races, too? Until this year most of the F1 races were quite boring for the past several years - and I like F1! I'll not comment on NASCAR because I don't follow the series that closely. Paul Tracy has no personality? Can't pronounce the driver's names?

Heard all these arguments against CART for years, but never from a supposedly pro-CART individual. Usually they are repeated by a select few on the forums.

In kind terms ... that guy is an idiot.

Since the mid 90's ??? Yeah, all those Michigan races were snoozers. LB and Denver last year were just run aways. Fontana last year was just horrible. The 1st of the Euro races - plain plain.

And how bout, Paul Tracy never won anything till the other guys left. Uh-huh, second in the series in career wins last year, first this year. Sounds like this guys had the unfortunate job of following a series he didn't want to the last few years, now he wants to purge. No exciting races? It's in the eye of the beholder.
