The way this merger seems to be going, both sides may get a little of what they want...

The Indy fans get "their name" (IndyCar)

...and the Champ fans get "their car" (turbo DP01).

Well, we need the name "IndyCar". I think everyone would want that. Heck some Champ races still use the Indy name to this day. The DP101 is not DONE. It is no more significant than a car in my diecast collection; it has not been built. That new IndyCar will be some of what the 101 is and then other things.

I think what the IRL fans want is a good number of ovals. As far as getting a turbo or NA, it does not matter to this IRL fan.
