"I would really like to go to NASCAR. I really enjoy NASCAR and if I could be there in a couple of years that's where I'd want to be."- Jeff Gordon (after testing a Formula Super Vee)
Unless things are settled with Bernie one way or another before then I suspect he'll be at IMS.
For the record, I never had a problem with CART in 1995. Its when they turned beligerant twards IMS and their fans for supporting the IRL that turned me off them.
There was just an article in the NSSN about continuing the USGP at Indianapolis and Joie Chitwood said they were going to be monitoring ticket sales and would have an idea by June about going forward. If there's a deal to continue with the USGP at Indy I would guess Tony would be there to show Bernie he has faith in the deal and if there's not I would see him in Kansas and Bernie getting a handshake from Chitwood while being shown the door.
"You can't arrest those guys, they're folk heroes"
"They're criminals"
"Well most folk heroes started out as criminals"
Which track does Tony own, and which series 'cr@pped on the carpeting' the last time they were there?
That's a little harsh isn't it? I mean, sure, Danica took out a few people, AJ IV broke Bruno's back, Larry Foyt and Scott Dixon and a few others wrecked, but I wouldn't say they cr@pped on the carpet. I actually thought it was one of the better 500's of the last decade.
After years of fighting and a split, guess what, we are all IndyCar
October will always be a sad racing month for me. RIP Greg and Dan. You both were great and we miss you.

So does this mean that since I'm sort-of luke warm on F1 now that I should buy my tickets in May or before if I'd like to see them come back?
decisions, decisions......

TG: flush them furriners and get some real racin' for midsummer.
Put down some dirt on the front stretch and pitlane and run a $100,000 to win midget show.
Road racing is doomed...what this country needs is a big new racetrack designed for automobiles instead of horses. C.G. Fisher

Well yeah, Vasser and Tracy weren't there to stink up the show.
