  • Another Atlantic driver named. Schiavo Joins Brooks Associates Racing

Im not gonna post all of these, but thats 3 in 3 days.

"Brooks Associates Racing announced this Friday that it has signed Venezuelan driver Luis Schiavo for the first seat in what is expected to be a two-car, full season effort in the 2006 Champ Car Atlantic championship."

The level of talent is gonna be crazy scary this year. I think KK might stick Katherine in CC just to get her away from there.

Maybe KK should be putting the Atlantics on TV instead of Champ. Take the drivers from Champ, put them in the Atlantics too and you have a series with a ton of drivers and cars and them promote that as your series. I know that cars are slower, but that can be tweaked.

Atlantics seems to be the that has the cost/avail sponsorship ratio for an American OW series in-line.

Who's the sponsor on this deal? Or any of the rest?

Maybe there could be a unification with KK taking over the developmental series owership and teaming it with IndyCar?

Visa versa? I don't know, I think you'd want the Indy 500 up front.

Atlantics seems to be working. I'm not saying the KK and company should not have some ownership in IRL major events. I'm saying that KK being the sole owner of the developement series would enough to offset whatever was hanging up the negotiations, if they even existed.

All of the Atlantics races are on Speed, just like the second half of the CCWS schedule.

Are there any American's getting these seats in the Atlantics? (And, no Leonardo Maia doesn't count).

The 500 means so much to the corporate world... and yet, the #1 topic of discussion for the off-season has been the IRL's car count(or lack thereof).

Side note: Bobby Rahal will be a featued guest at the Feb. 14 premiere of the new Atlantics car in L.A.

"Atlantic is the logical next step for me and I'm looking forward to working with (team owner) John (Brooks) and the Brooks Associates Racing team this season. It's a great opportunity that I intend to take full advantage of and thanks to my sponsor, Energy Freight.

Energy Freight is a Venezulean company.

                              Well, its a sponsor.

Does every Atlantic and CC team has 3rd party sponsorship? If no will the questions on Vision and Yellow Ribbon will go away?

                              Yeah right.
