PKV Racing officials have refused to confirm mounting speculation that British racer Katherine Legge has signed to race for their Champ Car squad in 2006.
The team emphasised to autosport.com that all the drivers that they have been testing in the off-season are targeting two seats with the team and an announcement of their line-up won't be made until February 14.
Frenchman Franck Montagny will join the list of candidates when he tests for the team at Sebring in Florida next week.
Giorgio Pantano, Ryan Briscoe and Ryan Dalziel tested with the team before Christmas, along with Legge.
Last season's driver Cristiano da Matta, who scored the team's first win at Portland, also remains in the frame for the drive.
Former champion and team co-owner Jimmy Vasser has also yet to announce whether he will retire.
