Is there a website for the track proper or is this the only one?

Parque Fundidora es un parque urbano incluyente y multifuncional, que contribuye a reforzar el tejido social ofreciendo un espacio verde, seguro, y de acceso 100% gratuito.

      Champ Car anywhere?

        Tecate & Champ Car?

        Telmex?

Website down, no mention in the track or two title sponsors websites. Are there any issues unreported?

          OMG! A website down???

IIRC, Monterrey didn't get their website up until a month or so before last years race, so this really isn't too surprising.

Does this "interest" mean you are planning a trip south of the border?
If you break a vase and then glue it back together and the vase loses it's value, you do not get credit for fixing it. You get the blame for damaging it....

Note I have inserted no language of commentary, ridicule, or sarcasm. This is a question thread, if there is nothing to it then provide the explanations and we shall move on to the next topic.

Far as my interest, in light of unification proposals which hold CCWS as having value in the schedule the Mexico City decline in attendence must be considered, and questions on Monterey hold weight as well.

No I am not considering a trip for the CCWS race in Monterey, to answer your question.

You have been around here long enough to know that the Mexico websites rarely work the day before raceday, let alone months before. You have also been around here long enough to read the countless threads about the online presales of tickets at the Mexico races, and how they are almost non existant.

You may have even read that the websites are being transfered from one bodies control to another. You may also know that the ParqueFundidora.org address is the site for the large industrial park, and not for the racetrack. You may have also noted that Tecate and Telmex arent officially announced as sponsors for the event yet, as far as i know.

Lets check some other series, shall we?

              IRL:
The first race is listed as being the TOYOTA indy 300! oh no! and the third race, Twin Ring Motegi, has no tickets available and a website that still lists the 2005 events! oh no!

              NASCAR:
Nascar doesnt list sponsors for Any of their races but the first 4 on their webpage! oh no! they are all TBA! Also, gatorade is sponsoring the twin 150's, yet there is no mention on Gatorades page?

              GrandAm:
There are no advance tickets for VIR or Mexico City up yet! Races 3 and 6! VIR's site is still last years! oh no!

              ALMS:
No ticket sales online for Houston, the second race!

              F1:
No ticket sales for Turkey, China, Belgium and Brazil online yet!

In short.... Duh. Its not even 2006 yet. PS, if you ACTUALLY want tickets try calling them: 011-(52)-81-8369-9000, or the local number 8369 9199. Note that the A1GP tickets for Monterrey in Feb are just now up on Ticketmaster Mexico. If its the same 2 months-before window for the CCWS race, they wont be up until MARCH of 06. Some time to wait.

No I haven't read that, links would be appreciated.

Didn't I ask that very question?

You stated that Telmex and Tecate may not be on board for next year (yet), which is the conclusion I draw as well. So we agree on this point.

ALMS: No ticket sales online for Houston, the second race!
Since that is a CC promoted and headlined event it falls on CC.

We're talking about Monterey, not Monterrey.

Oh, were talking about Monterey? Oh. Well, ChampCar doesnt race there anymore. So thats a fairly short conversation.

I am excited for the sportscar races and the USGP there, however.
