Well it's not surgery, but I understand this is where all the 'bots that work as crew members are assembled.

It's also the off-season storage area.

Not that it isn't huge, but there are some inconistent figures in the description of the facility.

An acre is 43,560 SF, so the building is about 9.75 acres and the NASCAR team uses about 5.5 acres.

Doesn't mean anything. Just thought it was odd.

About 15 acres under roof.... the NASCAR program uses about half of the facility.

Does this mean that the Borg Warner and the IRL championship stands a good chance of being in Charlotte next year?

there is percieved notion of the IRL being too midwestern-centric.

For years NASCAR was too Southern-centric - there is percieved notion of the IRL being too midwestern-centric.

I think this is a good idea for Penske regarding costs and, for nothing else, cross promotion and potential new clients/sponsors.

    Big from me.

What's the musical chairs quote again?

You know, he was the only one talking about F1... I've yet to see a quote where F1 was talking about Wheldon.

Starting to sound like a bargaining tactic.

The move will allow the organization to consolidate its stock-car, Indy-car and sports-car teams in the 424,000-square-foot facility Roger Penske opened last year in the Charlotte suburb.
    That place must be huge.
