  • This says it all...

Bear, Stearns & Co., the firm hired to advise CART in its search for a buyer, issued its fairness opinion recommending the sale.

"It's hard from outside to tell whether it's a fair price," McAlpine said. "At this stage of the process, there are more questions than answers. If I were a shareholder, I would have sold already."

Easy to say about a stock that has gone down so much.

Actually.. many professional traders have targets for specified periods of time... usually high and low. If it goes outside those parameters, they sell.

Other traders become emotionally attached to a stock. They hold, and hold, and hold...

      ... until its too late.

Nation said the IRL was contacted by Bear, Stearns as part of its due diligence in seeking out a buyer.

"They called to see if we had any interest," Nation said. "We didn't."
          Nobody else did, either.

The good people of Motorock would like you to know that they see all Irl fans as future Motorock fans.

            You'll be welcome there.

This statement reinforces the concept that CART management via their partner Bear, Stearns... sought the best offer they could get for the stockholders.

Actually, I think that this was looked at this much like those emails and faxes that you get from some guy, in say, Angola, who has millions of dollars that he needs to get out of the country...and he needs your help.

You only need ONE offer to sell.

IMO, this has been the objective all along you see. CART has known going public was a mistake around the time Roger Penske said so. Unfortunately, guys like Forsythe, and Patrick didn't listen. They rode it, and rode it. Penske bailed and Ganassi knew it was time to go. Nunn and now the most telling is AGR. CART has IMO driven the value down of the stock purposely in order to force a sale so that it may return to a privately held company, and then THEY believe their problems are solved. Now CART is sold at 56 cents, wow! Its all part of the game!

IT'S ALL PART OF THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!
