According to USA Today the Subway Fresh Fit 500 pulled in the same rating as 2007 which would be a 4.4 according to Jayski despite the race being delayed and coverage being delayed and cut away from and then back to for the Sox/Yanks baseball game.

I'm not that good at comparative math... but I do believe that 4.4 is greater than 3.1... meaning that the national viewers have spoken... "southern tin-tops" trump "east-coast bias"... Way to go NASCAR, you improved nicely over your lead-in.

Shows which should have cleanly preempted the other. Baseball should have just been moved to FX at the NASCAR start time cleanly rather than the back and forth they went with.

The viewership for the TPC at Sawgrass next month will take a hit... Hopefully Mr. Woods will be back in full swing for the US Open at Torre Pines in June...
