  • What about NASCAR at Toronto GP?

I've read about the Toronto GP woes recently.
Any chance the promoters could bring in a NASCAR date to salvage the GP?

    NASCAR understands their core audience.

And, its not street racing fans.
IRL 2009: "Cars you can't see, driven by drivers you have never heard of, on a network you don't get"

"I'd hire your grandmother, if she brought a budget"- Bankrupt Indy Car team owner Tyler Tadevic, to Curt Cavin in December, on the tough standards he looks for when "hiring" driver talent.

On a temporary non oval street course in Canada? I think pigs will fly, split the atom and write sonnets before that happens. The Nationwide guys running at Montreal was already getting the NASCAR core base in a dither.

Where exactly would they have room for 43 huge NASCAR pit stalls and 45+ team trailers?
