  • CCF Poll

There is a poll at the "other" fanatic website (we're fanatics too) asking who is in and who is out - regarding who will continue to follow the IRL. When I last looked there were 106 in and 87 out. You have to figure that half of the 87 will watch anyway. My point? I bet we lose very few fans with this unification. I hopeful the league will be much stronger.

I agree. 6 months from now, nobody will remember. Good.

Only the professional grudge carriers will really continue to whine.
      Rest in Peace, Miles Nelson

      Never forget, 'Mackie' was here.

Most of those folks are fans of their site. It gives them a chance to be a big shot and say stuff they would never say in public.

The more you read over there, you see that it is actually a small group that may never watch again. The rest are all slowly coming out from their bunker and saying how they will follow because now former CCWS drivers are in the series so they have to watch and give them support.

And really, if all of them showed up at a race, how would any one know? Unless each and every member knows each other by face, they could be sitting next to each other at an IRL race they swore to never attend.

It's all posturing. But I do like the guy who is going to tattoo his entire arm with CCWS memories. Now there's a life long decision that you can't take back once you sober up.

More than half who said they will not watch will secretly still watch. They will need to have something to complain about to make themselves feel happy.....

I do feel a little sorry for the guy and his lady that got DP01 tattoos last year.

He could always lie and tell folks its an F1 car. Not many would know the difference.
For the record, I never had a problem with CART in 1995. Its when they turned beligerant twards IMS and their fans for supporting the IRL that turned me off them.

                    What do you mean?

Most folks will just think that it is NASCAR.

Isn't Paper over 55? Is he 60? Then why the hissy fit and posturing? Surely he has had many good and/or bad experiences happen in his life that trump the demise of CC. I saw his posts and the others at CCF and, really, life is too short to have an attitude like that color it. I found their rants over there humorous and amusing at first, but now I see it as pathetic and gross and I no longer go there. They have some bad mojo that they need to rid themselves of.

the last few weeks I was going over there right after visiting here to see what the children were saying.

Im thinking many of them need help...like yesterday.

However, I no longer care what they are thinking.

                        Not even amusing any more

I can't imagine going through life being that bitter about something or someone.

You've obviously never worked for the government, have you? By the way....are you the guy I sold the NW Vista Deck tickets to last year?
