So we've got some musically talented folks onboard - Heath Hamilton (Absentstar), Dulcet Road (badart), CARTer (Henle and the Loops) and even hdolan (as Himself) having recorded and played professionally...

... and we have our favorite soundbites - Gomer Sings, Jim Phillippe's homage, Tom Carnegie's "On IT!!", the sounds of the novi, the offy, the ford, the turbos and the engines of today...

... and we have the racing-themed, car-themed, and even TF thread-themed songs and sound clips: "Speedway at Nazareth" by Mark Knoppfler, "Faster" by George Harrison, "The Ballad of Jimmy Bryan" by Harry Weger and even "Alice's Restaurant" by Arlo Guthrie...

I've got almost all of these on the ol' Walkman MP3 Player

Who else are the TF-related musical folks? What would you include in your all-time, comprehensive TrackForum Soundtrack compilation?

    Hey, Knockoff...

How about "Fun, Fun, Fun" by the Beach Boys, with the infamous lyric: "She makes the Indy 500 look like a Roman chariot race now"
"Each day well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well therefore to this one day for it, and it alone, is life"

Would y'all agree Charlie Daniels' "Uneasy Rider" belongs?

"I didn't hear a single comment about airboxes, "carbashians", or how terrible the car looked. I did see dozens and dozens of little kids in awe of the speed and how cool the cars looked. We should learn from our children."

This website (click here) has sections for music, sound and voices with downloadable files. It'll cost you a beer or two, though

Absentstar, briefly, with a theme Sea Fury and Jamski might appreciate:

Here's a cover you won't see done often, or this well:

I would add "Hot Rod Lincoln", as well as the song that it recalls
