  • A little early March Madness

A pair of top 6 teams (Geo Wash, and UConn) fall within 1/2 hour today to a pair of unranked opponents (Temple and Syracuse). It's going to be a fun month!

Jeez, better bring Kryptonite *and* a wooden stake if you're playing the 'Cuse.

Or just brings some Blue Demons along.

College basketball continues to be utterly unpredictable. Syracuse was staggering going into the Big East tourney and beats the #1 team, and Temple had lost by 17 to Fordham (at home) going into the A-10 tourney.

George Washington shouldn't have been sniffing the top 6 anyway.
Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the Keenest of them all?

Probably the only good thing to come out of all the guys going to the NBA early is that a group of pretty good players from a smaller school that have played together for 3-4 years can challenge a group of "blue chipper" freshmen and sophomores that are more concerned with what round they will get drafted in during the NBA draft.

Good point, sounds similar to the Olympics in some of the team sports.

I know two teams that just lost their NCAA hopes. Air Force got beat by Wyoming last night and Colorado just got blown out in a big way by A&M.
